Our minimum shipping order for discus is $75.00. If you wish to come and get your discus we waive the minimum order.

Shipping is one of two options:
1. Counter to counter from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) to your airport. You pay $10.00 packaging and handling plus shipping. Most destinations will cost between $65.00 and $95.00. Multiple box purchases may receive discounts on some airlines. We will guarantee live arrival shipped airport to airport. This is our preferred method of shipping.
2. Federal Express delivered to your house/business either next morning by 10:30 am or most common by 2:30pm. We can mark the box hold for pickup at your closest facility and they are usually ready by 9:30am. You pay $10.00 packaging and handling plus Fed Ex charges per box. Most destinations will cost $85.00. If your fish are shipped via FedEx I will NOT guarantee live arrival. Live arrival guarantee on only when shipped airport to airport.
In either case we will work closely with you to coordinate the safe arrival of your new discus.
Visitors are encouraged
to make an appointment and inspect our hatchery. Please call or E-mail
to make your appointment at least 1-2 days ahead of time so we can be
sure to spend time with you. We work hard to produce the very best discus
and are always willing to show our facility and exchange information with
fellow discus enthusiasts. Discusfarm has several of the most popular
varieties available and a few new varieties.
The discus are raised in 84-86 degree water with a pH of 7.5-7.7. Before
you order discus be sure your tank is properly adjusted and the tank is
cycled. Discus will not be fed two days prior to shipping to minimize on
waste in the water. We encourage you not to feed your new discus for at
least 24 hours after receiving them and keep the lights on in the tank
during this time. The discus need time to adjust.
Please note: If you send money for a deposit I reserve the discus from my breeder at that time or from my own stock. If after 48 hours you back out of the deal I will charge you a 35% restocking fee of the total amount to cancel the order and send your money back.
